Summary of Changes for 2011-2012 Season

D-CAN Motor Changes (NASCAR and NASTRUCK)

  • Any air gap is allowed
  • Magnets may be epoxied
  • Honing is permitted

C-CAN Motor Changes (LMP and GT-12)

  • Maximum armature diameter is increased to .540 from .518

Stamped Steel Chassis (NASCAR, NASTRUCK, LMP)

  • Soldering of earring back is only modification allowed rear of front axle. No additional bite bars, etc

NASCAR Specific Changes

  • JK Chassis xxxxx is permitted
  • Any rear tire diameter is allowed
  • Amateurs may run D-Can motors
  • All other amateur restirctions removed

NASTRUCK Specific Changes

  • D-Can motor change only

LMP Specific Changes

  • JK Chassis xxxxx is permitted
  • Redfox Body RFSC33 Audi R10 Open Cockpit is permitted
  • Redfox Body RFSC40 Acura OPen Cockpit is permitted
  • Redfox Body RFSC42 Peugeot Coupe is permitted

GT-12 Specific Chassis

  • Rear axle bearings are permitted
  • Approved Red Fox Scale Fighter bodies RFSC41SC and RFSC41LC
